Day 2: from Hoboken to Newburgh and New Haven (Yale)

Good evening from New York!

An announcement:

- Yesterday's song of the day was "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Sweed and Björn Skifs

- Today's song of the day was "Lost in the woods" by Jonathan Groff (from Frozen 2)

Today:

We started our morning nice and early at 8 am, too early for Jess and I really...

We did so much driving, who ever invented cruise control for cars is a blessed individual

In Newburgh:

- We remembered that it was Sunday, and that was why there were no people out and about at 9:30, because everyone was in church (or probably sleeping)

- We wandered around the water a little bit, and also just sort of vibed with some rocks and birds, truly it was an experience.

The area itself was really nice, the weather (temperature wise) was cool and a little breezy, and because it was still relatively early we had nice morning sunshine and nothing that made it too hard to balance our exposures and aperture ranges :)

- There were also a lot of flowers. vines, and grasses that were growing in the sidewalks and along the buildings, which were a lot of fun to photograph

After a little more wandering, we drove for about an hour and a half to New Haven

- We parked outside the library hoping to go in, but alas in only two short hours we managed again to forget that it was Sunday (the library is closed on Sunday) so instead we wandered around. There were lots of opportunities today too for leading lines (is anyone shocked?)

- We also wandered around the New Haven Green (outside of Yale wow so fancy,) and there were lots of opportunities for laying in the grass to get a better angle, slightly edgy pictures of street lamps, and of course our favorite subject today; Benches.

Tomorrow we head for Jay!

Frightfully and hauntingly yours,

Jack and Zero <3
