And now for the daily update :P
Today, we had a little bit of a slow morning
getting out of bed is rough
but also like, we are on the final stretch of the trip
we be tired
Us this morning...
Driving in Florida
you expect people to be relatively used to driving in the rain
but no
people were driving super slow with their windshield wipers on full blast
it was maybe sprinkling at best
The sky looks super menacing for like maybe ten minutes
and then it is beautiful

please tell me why
every state has some variation of a Martin Luther King Jr. street, court, boulevard or whatever
I think that we have driven on every version of that type of street during this trip
we hit one in every state

We went to the Miami Wynyard Art district
it was super cool
we took pictures and walked around a little bit
it was a good time
after that we saw John
Who's John you may ask?
Well Elena didn't really know either until we got there
John is a friend of Jess'! He was super cool
It was nice to meet you / see you John :)
We both had zoom meetings today
it worked out
Jess had hers at 4
Elena had hers at 6
both meetings ran into relative complications
- Praise couldn't get on the meeting (i.e. the person with all the information)
- Elena's meeting ran out of free meeting time (RIP the PAACE meeting...)
In between these two events
we got gas
and also Dunkin'
Shout out to Austin for being very worried about how many munchkins we got
we got none but the thought was appreciated :)
On the highway after Dunkin'
there was a lot of smoke
hmm
problem (turns out a car like half exploded or something idk we drove past it)
We got to where we were staying without too much issue
it's right by the water and very cool
so we took some water pictures too :)
we are tired
and running out of the will to eat sandwiches
I blame Michael's lamp for this
Tomorrow we head for Savanah and Beaufort
stayed tuned for the last couple of days as we get ready to bring this trip to a close
