And now for the daily update:
We got up this morning
We were once again really slow to start because we are tired
But we did eventually get moving
There was a cat at the airbnb, but he didn’t wanna be friends
Elena was crushed
We got rolling, with the idea that we are a day closer to seeing friends
and two days away from home (and being able to sleep until noon or later)
We headed to Charleston for the first stop of the day
And of course
We rolled up
We struggled for about 15 minutes to find parking
And then once we did that, we rolled around and took pictures
While we were walking around, someone saw Jess’s Led Zeppelin shirt, and commented that they were at the Fallen Angel ‘77 concert - Jess was thoroughly thrilled
Imagine being 17 and going to like a Zeppelin or a Beatles concert
Doesn’t seem like a real thing that actually happened
Anyways,
It all lasted less than 2 hours - there was another thunderstorm so we boosted
On to Georgetown
Not very much to report in between these two spots
These are very quiet little spots in South Carolina
But like the roads are long and empty…
We roll up to Georgetown and we’re right on the Historic Waterfront
So naturally we go to the wharf and wander around the water
Boat and water pictures yay :)
The storm has chased us
So we didn’t spend a ton of time there
But enough time to buy some waffle cone ice creams :)
We won’t stop for food but we will stop for sugar
Now we are on our way to Columbia
Lots of small little churches along this stretch
We have probably driven on every SC state highway at this point

We hit 'em all (is this Pokemon??)

We are trying to decide if we are going to eat today

Besides sugar (because we did eat that)
Maybe

We’ll eat cold soup for lunch
And dinner

We did eat lunch
At 4:30 in the afternoon
But we did eat
We’re middle children, we have issues
leave us be
Now we are in Columbia
But - we decided that we didn’t want to take pictures
Not like that’s the entire point of the trip
But we have been at this for a month now, and we are tired
Breaks are necessary
We procrastinated a ton
but that's not new information
IF you ever decide to start a band with your friends
