Day 3: Jay, a fourth of July parade, and so many old cars

Greetings and salutations!

apology that this is technically not on July 4th but we were slow today.

Like I said, we keep no schedule.

- Today's song of the day was "Evermore" by Dan Stevens from the live action Beauty and the Beast

Today:

- We slept in, we woke up at like 9:00, it was amazing. Highly recommend staying in the Adirondacks :) There are good vibes there

- We only had a 2o minute drive for the morning, and at some point Jess was like we should pull off and just take pictures because it's so pretty, but there was a parking area just ahead so we decided that we would wait.

and

OH BOY

We were so glad that we waited, because there were some really awesome old cars that were there, and the people who owned them told us about the parade that was happening in Jay (which we probably would've missed if we hadn't stopped).

- Once we made it into town, we settled along the town green area and took some pictures of the space (it was cute, there was a fountain, some trees, and oh boy more leading lines)

- There was also a journalist doing journalist things about Robert Frank which was nifty, but he seemed to heavily misinterpreted what our project actually was so that was. Awkward to say the least...

- We enjoyed the parade, and enjoyed taking pictures of even more old cars afterwards, and there was even a covered bridge (very Pennsylvania vibes, oh so fun)

- P.S.

Elena did a lot of random things today, from laying on the ground to take pictures, climbing a tree to take pictures, and running back and forth across the road to try and take pictures down the middle when there were no cars - no Elenas were hurt today :)
