We have been driving in no-mans-land for hours
The only civilization we have seen is cows
Send help, we are running low on juice (Michael’s lamp is going to get us…)

The song of the day was really hard to pick, but after much deliberation, we decided that it’s “The Cave” by Mumford and Sons (Jess and Elena make EXCELLENT banjos fyi)
Forgot to say, but, it RAINED last night.

It shook the hotel
Lowest gas price for today was 4.49, and that’s what we paid :) (at least the first time)

To start off the day
We awoke - we slept until like 9 but like didn’t actually sleep that much but it's fine :)
Jess realized that the hotel room had a DIVIDER, but only in the morning (didn’t quite click last night… she’s a middle child she has problems)
Both of us felt a lot better today because we were more on our regular sleep schedules (we’re middle children okay we have problems leave us out of this)
really super cool Ciandra did feed us danishes this morning (yummy. We have now eaten all of the really super cool Ciandra provided food, except the immortal cheese)
We packed the car - took a selfie in front of King Kong (he has Philly Cheesesteaks (yummy)) - took off
Another side note:
We are so bad at keeping track of time y’all. Elena or Jess will be driving and then it’s like, “um lol how long have you been driving, it’s probably time to switch…”
Then we like, pull off to get gas or like, pee? (remembering that you need to pee is self care)
We should not be allowed to adult (we’re very bad at it, like basic needs? forgedaboutit)
We DID eat lunch today (like at 3 ish? In a high school parking lot? Jess threw a tomato on the ground? But it's fine, cuz we actually ate)
We stopped somewhere along route 30 along the side of the road today - it was exciting
We were literally just in the middle of nowhere, we yoinked off the road and were like alright. The TIME IS NOW.
We took pictures for like 20 minutes, and Elena fulfilled her desire to stand in the middle of the road and shoot down the yellow lines, and Jess took some horse pictures
Hay bales are pretty. That is all.
The clouds are also really cool.
WE HAVE ONCE AGAIN TIME TRAVELED AND IT WAS SO CRAZY WE GAINED
A WHOLE HOUR!!!! (before you know it, we'll have amassed a whole three hours, only to promptly lose them again...)
Admittedly, we never found Qyoming, but we are both in agreement that no-mans-land is really pretty :)
We are going to once again, eat soup for dinner (yummy)
“And you’re probably going to eat it cold again because you’re a heathen, aren’t you?” - Jess calling Elena out
She did indeed eat it cold, directly out of the can.
We genuinely didn’t do too much today (even less than yesterday guys, really like there was nothing) so there isn’t a ton to write about.
